As we all know, there is a real gap between plastic-part robots and metal-part robots, and moving up to metal robots can be a steep learning curve for students. So VEX added a middle-level product between the plastic VEX IQ and the metal VEX V5: VEX EXP!
As you can see, it's basically a simplified VEX V5, but one that is designed to run on a VEX IQ field.
The controller, Brain, motors, and more have all been adjusted to make learning and the transition easier.
