🏆AMAZE AWARD
🥉TEAMWORK CHALLENGE DIVISION 3RD PLACE
Students from both of our teams were called into a small judges' interview room. The room had a robot and a computer, and the judges posed four or five problems and had the students write code on the spot. Although our students are only in 5th and 6th grade, unlike most teams that use graphical software, they wrote all of their actions in C. The judges were quite surprised when they finished. We heard that the top-ranked teams are all called in for interviews, and that if the judges find an adult wrote the code or helped build the robot, the team is disqualified on the spot. We think that's great, because it rules out adults writing the code for the students.
