for winning 2nd place in the world for robot mechanical design 🥈

This team was formed mainly through a school club.
Through weekly club classes plus pre-competition training camps,
together with the parents' support and the students' tireless spirit,
they were able to achieve this great result! 🎉
The competition has four main scoring areas: mechanical design presentation, research project, team, and hands-on robot performance. The students said that through correspondence with astronauts, they learned that astronauts on missions face problems such as homesickness, irritability, and muscle atrophy. They designed a solution using VR equipment and live video to help astronauts interact with their families and exercise.
Mr. Keen, Head of School at Taichung American School, said that in promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education around the world, it is commendable that the students solved every problem on their own, from entering the competition to reaching the world final, and showed what they can do. Taichung American School has also won the right to host VEX competitions in central Taiwan, and will host a VEX robotics competition in Taiwan at the end of this year.
