To draw more people into the field of intelligent robotics and to cultivate talent for making intelligent machines, the Central Taiwan Science Park Bureau of the Ministry of Science and Technology has held a series of robot courses and related competitions since 2017. Recently it held the “mBot Workshop at Zhenlan Temple Children's Home in Dajia District, Taichung” and an “FRC 3D Modeling Design Course.”

The “FRC 3D Modeling Design Course” brought in Teacher Turtle's professional team to guide the team from the National Experimental High School at Central Taiwan Science Park. Starting from basic SolidWorks modeling software, students draw FRC models and components, then use a laser cutter to cut the parts for the robot, so that they start from modeling and build a robot of their own with their own hands. The Science Park's Intelligent Robot Maker Base provides complete FRC robot equipment so FRC teams can test and practice, along with professional consulting and technical guidance. In addition, on January 30 and 31, 2019, the Bureau held the “2019 FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) Taiwan Practice Event” at the gymnasium of the Science Park Experimental High School, where that school won the Chairman's Award, and Lishan High School, Zhongzheng Industrial Vocational High School, and Hengyi High School won the Winning Alliance award.
